Privacy Policy
This app is a local-first nutrition tracker. It is designed to store meal logs, goals, reminders, and subscription access information primarily on the user's device.
What we collect
- Meal entries, calorie and protein targets, reminder preferences, and language/settings choices stored on-device.
- An installation identifier used only to associate subscriptions with the device through the billing provider.
- An optional phone number entered by the user for early-access matching. This is stored locally on the device if a match succeeds.
What we do not collect
- No contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, or background analytics are collected by this app.
- No nutrition logs are sent to a remote backend as part of the core tracking flow.
- No advertising SDKs are included.
Third-party services
- Apple App Store and Google Play may process payment information when a user subscribes.
- RevenueCat is used to validate subscription entitlements and synchronize purchase status across stores.
- Local notifications are used only for reminder scheduling on the device.
How data is used
- Local nutrition and settings data are used to power the food log, goals, reminders, and statistics screens.
- Subscription data are used only to determine whether premium access should be unlocked.
- Early-access phone numbers are used only to compare against the bundled early-access list.
Retention and deletion
Local app data remain on the device until the user clears app storage, removes the app, or overwrites the
data. Early-access access is revoked automatically if the phone number is removed from the bundled
assets/early-access.json file in a future release.
Security
The app stores its local database in browser/app storage and supports encrypted storage with integrity checks through the app's existing secure-storage flow. Subscription validation is delegated to the store billing flow and RevenueCat entitlement verification. No client-only app can guarantee absolute protection against reverse engineering or tampering.
Your choices
- You can disable reminders at any time in Settings.
- You can cancel subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play before renewal.
- You can remove local data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.
